Vera, a mother of two children, is left by her husband and looses her job all at once. She gets a job offer in another town, grabs her children and their belongings and moves there for a fresh new start in life. Before she gets there she hits a boy with her car. In chock, she assumes the boy to be dead. But is it really Vera who killed him?

Conflicts are revealed as Angelby prepares for the big day. It’s time to pick a side. Rudi hesitates about his mission and a disappointed Britt-Louise asks for a final favor. Eva has high hopes while Jakob and Markus disagree on what will happen. Rune and Ake will stop at nothing to get what they want. Therese receives a visitor with a special request. Vera is shown how everything could go wrong, but she is still missing the final tool needed to fulfill her destiny. Everyone has been waiting for this day, but nothing will turn out the way they pictured it.
