In the premiere of a reality series following the lives of actor Leah Remini and her inner circle, Leah and her husband, Angelo, plan a party for friends who supported them after leaving the Church of Scientology, but Angelo uses the event as an excuse to move Sofia's swing set out of the yard, an idea that doesn't sit well with Leah.
An argument is taken a step too far and Vicki is concerned about how she will be remembered after she dies.
Leah and Shannon try and talk Vicki out of getting a tattoo. George has trouble with a cash register at the restaurant.
When Leah's Mom wants to spend more time with her daughter, Leah suggests she helps decorate the restaurant.
Following an earthquake, Leah has Angelo get the house ready for any future disasters. Leah is concerned that nanny Trish's hobbies could be masking a hoarding issue.
When Shannon’s 30th Birthday approaches, Leah and Vicki offer to fulfill her wish for a boob job. Vicki begrudgingly babysits for Sofia while Leah and Shannon go on a double date. Angelo and George shop for a boob shaped cake for Shannon’s Birthday.
Leah not only has to pack for Angelo and Sofia, but must also overcome her fear of flying to prepare for a family trip to New York City.
In New York City, Leah and Angelo show Sofia where they grew up; an emotional reunion between Leah and her biological father; Vicki's dog wreaks havoc at home.
Leah wants Angelo to secretly follow Sofia on her class trip to Sacramento so that she will know that she is safe. Leah and Vicki show Shannon how to be a better wife.
Vicki would like to to spend more time with Leah. Leah gets her mother to her redecorate a restaurant.
Leah organizes a road trip just for the females. Vicki thinks they should go camping instead and Leah will only agree if they rent an RV.
Leah and and her friends enjoy some luxury camping instead of roughing it. The men miss them and decide to go see how they are getting along.
