A human hand washes up on a Shetland beach. A few hours later, more body parts are discovered in a hold-all that has been dumped at sea. The victim is identified as a young Nigerian man, spotted in Lerwick a few days before. In investigating his murder, DI Perez becomes involved in the search for a vulnerable young woman, leading him to uncover a complex network of human trafficking across Scotland’s remote rural communities.
01. Episode 1
A severed hand washes up on a Shetland beach, with further body parts discovered in a holdall that has been dumped at sea. Perez and the team begin a complex murder investigation.
02. Episode 2
A horrifying discovery at the Hayes house changes the course of the investigation. Perez establishes the probable cause for Daniel's murder and his sister Zezi's disappearance.
03. Episode 3
Sandy feels the heat in the aftermath of Calum’s suicide. Convinced that McGuire is the key to cracking the case, Perez travels to Glasgow in an attempt to track him down.
04. Episode 4
Sure that Zezi is being held on Shetland, Perez and the team ramp up the pressure on their remaining leads. Personally, Perez finds himself in turmoil after his kiss with Alice.
05. Episode 5
The discovery of Niki’s body intensifies the search for Zezi. Perez feels that time is running out. A desperate Olivia tries to get information from Jamie Hayes.

Perez closes in on Zezi's location at last. But can he reach her before it's too late?
