Matt has spent hours waxing his surfboard that will probably never see the sea again! Martin is desperate for a girlfriend, Mandy is dating a boxer, Matt reckons he could have him in a fight, but it's obvious Matt is intmidated by him.

Mandy is thrilled to receive a job offer from a renowned author until she discovers the work entails researching a rather intimate part of his body. Meanwhile, Matthew arranges a very personal surprise for Martin's birthday present.

Mandy has a lot of debts, so an invitation to the Savoy and the possibility of a job in Bermuda might solve all of her problems. Meanwhile, Matthew and Martin spend the evening dreaming of "hot babes."

Martin decides to change his life by moving out and becoming a teacher; Mandy gets bored with her latest relationship after it lasts a whole week.

The sordid secrets of Matthew's days alone in the flat are revealed, as he attempts to date a pizza delivery girl and delves into his personal video collection.

Matt ventures out of the flat to join a band.
