Glenn learns that Caroline Beels has leukemia and needs to find a matching donator. After she tracks down her birth mother's rapist, Glenn has to convince him to donate. Meanwhile, Dana is investigating Sam, a mentally disable man working in the police office, who has been hiding drugs for money, thinking he is helping people.
The FBI is after some diskettes that are supposed to be with Glenn.
Glenn takes responsibility for keeping rockstar Janie Swann clean after her release from jail, while dealing with Rose Carmody, who inherits the detective agency after her wealthy husband’s death.
