02. Thin air and desert heat
The jobs in salt mining, at the fish market, and on farm work at 3,600 meters above sea level demand everything from the participants. Who can keep their nerve and complete the long journey through Chile first?
03. A difficult decision for one of the teams
With jobs on a llama farm and caring for endangered wild animals, Lile and Dilara, Timo and Marcus, and their travel funds are boosted. Who can best endure the hardships?
04. Fatal decision at the checkpoint
Jill and Jamie and Timo and Marcus visit the Iguazú Falls, Lykka and Carlo explore the wetlands, and Dilara and Lile learn about the prejudices faced by the indigenous Guarani people.
05. A bitter setback and special moments
Due to a setback Lile and Dilara have to turn back. Lykka and Carlo are allowed to watch whales in the Atlantic – an unforgettable experience for the student couple.
06. Final sprint - who will cross the finish line first?
On a wild ride in the snowy heights of Bariloche, Jamie must rise above himself. Lile and Dilara feel almost like they're in paradise in the hot springs at the foot of a volcano.
