After we all partied like it was 1999 (because it actually WAS), what followed was a pretty eventful 10 years, starting with the year 2000. Join us, as we embark on the long awaited "Timeline: 2000s", as we examine each of the crazy years that made up the first decade of this century - all that was tech, all that was volatile, and all that was just plain weird! In this year, Spotify was founded, Heath Ledger passed on, the 2008 Great Recession kicked off big time, and so many insane, wacky, and unbelievable things happened, not to forget the election of Barack Obama to the highest office in the United States!
