Season 4

Glen tries to worm his way into Jane's life, and he easily wins her. Gail and Paul go on their honeymoon, and Harold refuses to sell his stocks. The cosmetic company that Jane is supposed to model for, tells her they intend taking her to court if she doesn't show up for the American modelling assignment in a week's time.

Paul helps Jane get out of her modelling contract, and Sally decides to stay in Erinsborough. Eileen is doing a very good job looking after her ex-husband. While out on a shoot Scott, Mike and Jane get stuck in the middle of the sea. Malcolm tells Eileen why he left her.

Scott goes missing after trying to swim ashore, and his father blames Mike and Jane for not trying to stop him. Harold loses all his shares on the Stock Exchange, so he decides to call the wedding off which leaves Madge in tears.

Charlene fears that Scott has drowned, while Eileen begins to accept that Malcolm is living with them. Scott is found alive to everyone's relief, especially Charlene who faints when she hears the news. Eileen seems to be falling in love with her ex-husband again, but Malcolm is back on his feet again ready to go back to his house.

Scott returns home and learns that he has passed his exams. Glen is very disappointed when Mrs Mangel tells him what she thinks of his relationship with Jane. Madge Ramsay wins a car in a raffle and she is over the moon. Glen breaks up with Jane, and Lucy starts kissing - adultly!

Charlene gets a rash. Helen and Madge have a heated argument over household duties and their children's upbringing. The plant that Lucy brought as a gift for Charlene turns out to be poisonous. Madge doesn't have a drivers licence, but Henry promises to help her. Gail gets frightened when Paul tells her he wants children, as she believes she can't have babies.

Beverly tells Gail that she can't have children. Gail goes to see Ben for a second opinion and he refers her to a gynaecologist. She comes back highly disappointed about the diagnosis and she decides that the best thing to do is not to tell her husband. Henry becomes friends with Tony.

After receiving Tony's letter with Jane's photo, Mrs Romeo goes to Erinsborough to congratulate her son personally. Paul is disappointed when Gail tells him about her infertility. Eileen and Malcolm slowly fall in love again, while Mike and Jane also get back together.

Madge sets the record straight with Helen. Elinora meets Jane - Tony's 'fiancé' - at the coffee shop. Madge tries to talk Harold into selling the car so that he can afford to continue with the wedding, but Harold doesn't want to hear a word.

Jane and Sally confront Tony at the garage after explaining the situation to his mother, and feel quite relieved. Tony tells his mother the truth. Scott wants to write an article about immigrants, and Malcolm asks Eileen to marry him again.

Malcolm proposes to Eileen and when she accepts, Des is over the moon about the news. Henry tries to teach Madge how to drive, but her driving lesson ends up in disaster after an unfortunate encounter with a fire hydrant.

Madge asks Helen if she would tech her how to drive. Jim and Henry join the other boys in the card game, which leaves only Harold with the girls. After eating, they all play a game of scrabble, resulting in a big argument.

Everyone is getting on each other's nerves, and so Helen tries to calm the situation. Paul and Gail decide to go on with the invitro-fertilisation programme. Helen gives Madge driving lessons, and as usual they end up screaming at each other when Madge accuses Helen of being too fussy.

Helen reads the riot act to Madge, Harold, Henry and Lucy. Madge and Helen make up, but decide its best if Henry and Madge move back home. Scott and Charlene are in for a shock at breakfast time.

Harold agrees to marry Madge as soon as possible. Mrs Mangel tries to persuade Eileen not to get married. Scott's hopes are dashed.

Sally agrees to stay. Scott gets some exciting news. Sally bags herself a job. Where is Mike and Jamie?

Eileen over reacts when Mike and Jamie are not at home. Lucy starts high school. Eileen ponders if she is getting married too soon after a conversation with Helen. Helen drops a bombshell.

Helen remains determined to get her own flat. Scott agrees to work for Henry. Gail discovers a shocking truth.

Paul tries to track down Rob. Eileen is determined to have Mrs Mangel at her wedding. There's a disagreement over the honeymoon destination.

Gail and Rob make up. Malcolm has a last minute change of heart.

Malcolm calls the wedding off. Scott and Henry acquire another business.

Sally ropes in some friends to help decorate the flat. Helen finds a flat to rent, but is it haunted? Henry suffers an accident whilst using gym equipment.

Henry's injury means Scott has to do all the gardening work by himself. Scott and Paul play a trick on Jim. Jim is hopefuil that everything will go to plan with the wedding.

Jim and Beverley get married. Paul and Gail renew their vows. Todd and Katie run away.

Scott and Charlene find the kids safe and sound. Beverly offers to look after Todd and Katie for a while. Is Helen's new flat haunted?

Hilary gets spooked by Helen's flat and decides to leave. Eileen is still struggling with Malcolm's departure.

Madge has another mishap whilst learning to drive. Madge sells her car but thinks she was scammed.

Scott is struggling with the amount of work he has to do. Henry makes a move on Sally.

Beverley tells Scott to take a break. Beverly takes Katie on a shopping spree. Whats happened to Jim's lunch? There's a thief in the coffee shop.

Jim and Beverly have a chat with Todd and Katie about their home life. Bouncer causes trouble in Mrs Mangels garden. Todd's attempts to apologise to Harold, does not go well.

Helen asks Eileen for some help. Mrs Mangel gets a plan, but ends up getting a scare. Jim and Beverly agree to take a trip to Adelaide.

The mystery of the ghost is revealed. Harold's newspaper article does not go down well with Mike (or anyone else) Eileen is left in charge of Jamie, but can she be trusted?

Eileen struggles without her pills. Tony and Sally turn competitive and try to outdo each other.

Eileen heads to the medical centre to get some more pills. Paul has a bet with Gail. Jim and Beverly agree to look after Todd and Katie for longer.

Jane hosts a party for Mike at Mrs Mangels house. Henry and Charlene have an idea, to hopefully make Harold bring the wedding forward.

Beverley's attempt to cook a big family meal ends in disaster. Eileen returns to her former self. Mike leaves for his trip.

Scott, Henry and Charlene continue in their attempts to make Harold jealous. Eileen agrees to help Beverley with her cooking.

Charlene finds a valuable coin. Madge issues Harold with an ultimatum, before heading to Brisbane to visit her parents.

Harold pulls a sickie. Henry inadvertently gives Charlene's coin to Katie.

The hunt is on for the missing coin. Daphne's dad passes away. Helen scrambles to get invites out on time.

Mrs Mangel refuses to give the coin back to Charlene. Charlene arranges to return the coin to its original owner, and gets a surprise in return Katie is getting picked on in school, until Henry interjects.

Henry rescues Katie and prevents an accident. The funeral of Daphne's Dad takes place. Todd tries to prove that he can be trusted. Helen and Beverly come across a car crash, who's involved?

Daphne is badly injured in an accident. Will she pull through?

Mrs Mangel offers to look after bouncer. Jane teaches Tony a lesson. Beverley hears some upsetting news from the hospital .

Helen learns that Frank is on his way. Beverley suggests hypnotherapy to Gail, in a bid to help her remember the registration number.

Jim hosts a farewell dinner for Lucy, before she goes to boarding school. Beverly gets a little extra help with the food.

Len Mangle files for divorce. Frank and Mrs Mangel offer each other some advice.

Charlene goes on strike from doing house work, due to Henry not pulling his weight. Gail tries hypnotherapy. Lucy leaves for boarding school. Harold gets a job at the newspaper.

Gail remembers the registration number with Beverley's help. Mrs Mangel worries about losing her house. Jane discovers Harold's secret. Henry wants to host a housecleaning party.

Madge arrives back early from her parents, causing Scott, Henry and Charlene to swing into action. Mrs Mangel is attracted to Frank. Harold decides its time to set a date, but is he too late?

Madge tells Harold that shes not sure if she still wants to marry him anymore. Scott and Henry have a bet over who is the best gardener. Frank wants Helen to leave with him.

Scott and Henry both cheat during their bet. Katie gets stung by a bee. Gail spots the car from the accident.

Jane says Charlene does most of the work, Charlene says Jane's a model. As the guys give chase, Jim and Paul arrive and they give Jim the keys. As the guy who has been fighting Jim recovers and gives chase, Jane runs into Gail and Tony coming the other way. Outside Daphne's room, Paul and Gail fill Des in on catching the guys.

Daphne is buried, but Des makes it clear he won't forget her. Everyone in Ramsay Street is looking after Des and Jamie. The only problem is Des. He won't leave Daphne's graveside, and he is irritable about everything. He does not even have time for poor Jamie.

Mrs. Mangel prepares for the divorce hearing. Des apologises to Mike but he is still devastated by Daphne's death. Paul, Jim and Mike take Des to the waterhole for a drink, but he does not even finish his drink and leaves them to visit his wife's grave again. Eileen is recuperating, while Madge and Beverley take turns to look after Jamie.

Mike manages to talk some sense into Des, who finally wakes up to himself and has to accept that Daphne is dead and to get on with his life. Mrs. Mangel wins the fight with her husband and keeps her home. Out of guilt Madge confesses to Harold that she was seeing someone behind his back while in Brisbane. In the middle of the confession the man in question walks in.

Madge's 'other man' turns up and announces that he's going to marry Madge. Harold is upset to find out that the man is Lou Carpenter, a man he really dislikes. Beverley is desperate for a baby, but Jim is against the idea.

Scott terminates his partnership with Henry and applies for a job as an engineering clerk at Jim's company. Lou Carpenter picks a fight with Harold not knowing that he has been taking karate lessons from Tony. Will Harold and Lou begin a fight at the Coffee Shop?

Harold punches Lou and knocks him out. Jim tells Beverly that he doesn't want any more children. Madge throws water over Lou and Harold when they argue in her driveway.

Lou reminds Henry of Fred. Harold decides he no longer loves Madge and calls his engagement off, while Lou Carpenter finds himself a new girlfriend. It's back to square one for Madge, as she is alone again.

Madge accepts Harold's proposal again, and he tells her that he'll marry her in a month's time. Jane is given a lecture about her neglecting Mike, and later Mike confesses to Jane that he misses Daphne. Jane and Tony win a dance competition

Scott gets a job at Jim's business, and is introduced to Jim's partner, Ross. Tony is upset when Jane breaks up the dancing partnership. Des goes back to work, and Sally takes over looking after Jamie. Ross catches Scott spying on him.

Scott believes that Ross isn't reliable. Ted and David, the guys that killed Daphne, get away with a fine at their trial. Everyone in Ramsay Street is disappointed about the court's verdict on Daphne's death. Mike decides to take the law into his own hands by going after the culprits.

Mike confronts Summers, the man that killed Daphne, but doesn't hit him. Out of concern Sally and Jane go out to look for Mike. The police later visit Mike to tell him that Summers has been bashed. Harold and Madge start writing invitations for their wedding.

Mike is charged with GBH and is confronted by Regan. Tony sends Jane a big bouquet of flowers hoping to get Jane to love him but exactly the opposite happens. A heated argument starts between the two of them and Jane humiliates Tony.

A funeral director turns up at Mr. Mangel's door and starts discussing funeral arrangements, not being aware that Mrs. Mangel thinks that he is the carpenter she is expecting. Des scares Regan away. Mrs. Mangel concludes that her visitor was sent by Todd.

Madge clears the air about the undertaker with Mrs. Mangel, who finds out that he was actually sent by Eileen. Mrs Mangel lets Todd off, but does not even think of apologising to him. Scott shows Paul and Henry the bribery money Ross sent him to deliver.

Scott tries to expose Ross to Jim, and Ross suggests that Scott should be fired. Tony goes back to Perth and Sally is now looking for a new flatmate, while Charlene is left in the lurch again. Henry offers to move in with Sally.

The engineering works are burnt down and arson is suspected. Mrs. Mangel discovers who 'Dear Georgette' is.

Lucy returns - as a punk! Rob Lewis turns up at Lassiter's surprising everyone with the announcement that he is getting remarried. Scott tells Jim about Ross' deals but Ross manages to argue himself out of the bribery accusations because Jeff, who is Scott's only witness, is too scared to testify.

Des brings Jim the factory's financial statement from the bank. Charlene and Scott break into Ross's car and they find his red diary with all the evidence about the money. Ross admits everything, including burning down the engineering works. Jim can't decide whether to go to the police or not.

Ross is arrested after Jim reports him to the police, and his wife becomes very abusive to Jim. The solicitor calls Mike in to tell him what awaits him, and Mike learns he could face time in jail. Mrs. Mangel takes over the 'Dear Georgette' column from Harold.

Mike takes off to escape prison. Henry designs a new kennel for Bouncer. Rob Lewis' fiancé arrives - Paul and Gail are speechless with shock after meeting Gail's prospective stepmother.

Gail takes an instant dislike to Gloria. Jane is in tears after Mike's disappearance, but just when Sally starts panicking Mike returns after deciding not to run away. Gloria realises that Gail doesn't like her and she warns her not to think of separating her from her Dad.

Gloria and Rob move to Lassiter's. Jim is upset after having problems finding another job.

Jim is being difficult with everyone. Gail and Gloria make up, and Sally catches Melanie and Henry kissing.

Instead of spending a quiet Sunday afternoon together, Madge and Harold end up with a house full of Henry's friends. Scott and Henry try to get as much evidence as they can to help Mike with his case and save him from going to prison.

It's Mike's hearing and everyone is really worried except for Henry and Scott who have just developed the photos of Summers that prove Mike's innocence.

Mike is found not guilty of GBH, but is found guilty of minor assault. Madge is up and about making preparations for her wedding, but she is disappointed that it is not going to be as big as her first one.

Mike is released on a good-behaviour bond, and Charlene plans a big wedding for Madge.

Jim is taking his business frustration out on everyone, especially Katie and Todd. Finally Madge is going to have the wedding of her dreams, thanks to Paul and Gail's generosity. Todd is concerned that they will be asked to leave.

Beverly tells Todd and Katie that they can stay forever. Rob lets the cat out of the bag, and Jim is very upset with Paul for arranging business interviews for him.

Helen and Rob try to explain to Jim that Paul meant well by arranging the business deal for him. Eileen leaks the information to Nel Mangel about the secret wedding meeting. Malcolm wins on a quiz show. Mrs. Mangel takes over the wedding preparations, much to everyone's annoyance.

Malcolm offers his prize to Des, but Des turns the offer of a ticket to Europe down. Mrs Mangel takes over the arrangements for Madge's wedding, but Paul blackmails her into giving up the wedding preparations.

Katie loses and then finds her guinea pigs. The fact that Harold and Madge are going to have a big wedding is still a secret, until Harold accidentally comes across the guest list. Mrs Mangel practices the wedding march very much out of tune.

Madge and Harold make it clear they only want a small wedding. The girls are having a lovely time on the eve of the wedding, while Harold has a 'wild' buck's party at which his son, David, turns up.

Harold and David are in full wedding garb at 8.30 am Jane isn't even dressed! David asks, none to subtly, to be introduced to her and comments that her outfit is very fetching . Harold tells Mrs. Mangel that he's put up with her comments in the past but not today - he loves Madge 'desperately, passionately, and irrevocably' with every fibre of his being.

Sally and Eileen go to Europe. Harold and Madge begin their honeymoon and they are over the moon. David is interested in Jane. Henry nearly bites David's head off for waking everyone up at 7am to clean up after the wedding.

David goes over to Mike to explain his stand about Jane. He declares he loves Jane and vows to win her from Mike!

David pursues Jane, much to Mrs. Mangel's delight. Madge and Harold are back from honeymoon and Harold just cannot keep his hands off Madge. Henry threatens to beat the daylight out of David for calling his mother names.

Jim's future hangs on a telephone call. After hearing David's side of the story, Harold confronts Mrs. Mangel about all the nasty things she has been saying about Madge. Henry and David make up.

Jim fails to get a job, and Jane tells David she's not interested in him. Des hires a nanny for Jamie. Mike is not very comfortable with her, but Des keeps assuring him that she is going to be fine and there is nothing to worry about.

Katie rides the bike Todd got for his birthday, but she knocks Helen over. Des sacks Carol.

Helen suffers a sprained ankle. Todd and his friends are banned from the coffee shop. Henry offers to leave home to give Madge and Harold some privacy now that they are married. Todd and Beverly are both in trouble with Jim, and for the first time Jim and Beverley have an argument.

Jim cools off. Henry and Mike give David a new 'cool dude' look!

David is rejected by Prue and is shattered when she tells him she doesn't want to see him again. Jane tells her Nan how upset she is about the way she interferes with people's affairs. Harold and Henry have a terrible argument. Mike takes Bouncer back, which leaves Mrs Mangel in tears.

David goes home. Harold forgives Mrs. Mangel - partly. Paul's old flame, Nina, turns up at Lassiters. She befriends Gail until she discovers that she is Paul's wife. Paul discovers that Amy, the little girl with Nina, happens to be his daughter who he knew nothing about.

Paul tells Gail that he has a child. Mrs. Mangel and Madge 'make up'.

Gail is still upset about Amy so she decides to confide in Jane. Paul confronts Nina Williams about his daughter and she tells him to keep away from the child. Jim becomes an apprentice mechanic. Helen considers moving back to the Robinson house.

Paul makes a deal with Nina. Des comes up with a plan to make Bouncer choose a master. Helen decides to move back into the Robinsons house.

Bouncer chooses Mrs. Mangel so Mike hands Bouncer over to her. Madge and Harold disagree about money matters. Scott and Charlene are back from Brisbane, and Scott accuses Charlene of having an affair.

Charlene's 'lover' turns up and offers her driving lessons. Harold invites Mrs. Mangel over for dinner - much to Madge's disgust! Charlene throws a tantrum when Harold tries to find out what the problem is between her and Scott.

Charlene's flirting with Steve begins to annoy everyone, and Scott is rude to him. Paul and Gail receive a letter from the IVF programme, saying she has been accepted and they can start immediately.

Paul assures Gail that he still wants a baby, and he surprises her with a special dinner. Des plans to set up a dark room as a present for Mike's birthday.

Helen accuses Mrs. Mangel of being lonely. Charlene passes her driving test - and then passionately kisses Steve. Paul surprises Gail with a party, and they even discuss baby names. Trying to make Helen a cup of tea, Katy breaks a cup.

Charlene is angry with Steve, while Rob is worried about Gail wanting to find her real parents. Scott is offered a cadetship. Mrs Mangel is in love with someone from her bowls club.

Mrs. Mangel pretends to be her own sister, Belle! Todd and Katie's mother has a nervous breakdown

Todd and Beverly go to Perth. Henry organises a scavenger hunt to raise funds for Peter's scholarship. Jane receives an electric shock.

Jane is OK and goes over to Des to apologise about her grandma's behaviour, and to thank Des for taking her to the hospital. Much to her horror, Charlene has nightmares about Steve.

Scott hears Madge and Harold talking about Steve Fisher. Todd arrives back from visiting his parents in Perth and pours his heart out to Jim. Jim tries to explain Todd's father's frustrations. Katie is excited to see her brother is back.

Harold is still upset that Madge lied to Scott about Charlene. The scavenger hunt is on and the whole of Ramsay Street is abuzz with excitement. Nel Mangel responds to John's letter in her own favour. Helen and Katie win the scavenger hunt, while Henry wins the wooden spoon!

Mrs. Mangel's gnome loses its head! Jane admits to losing some feelings towards Mike.

Mike and Jane split up. Gail hears some news from the adoption centre. Scott confronts Jane about breaking up with Mike. Mrs. Mangel is enchanted by John Worthington who invites her out for dinner and dance.

Rob confronts Ian Chadwick, Gail's real father. Scott, Mike and Pete leave for the Olympic training centre. Mike goes along to take pictures of Pete training and Scott to write a report about it.

Rob wants Ian to leave Gail alone, and Steve Fisher visits Charlene. Madge and Mrs. Mangel fight over Harold's videos. Unfortunately for Mrs. Mangel this minor tiff makes John see her true colours and he terminates their relationship.

Charlene falls into Steve's trap again. She meets him outside Lassiter's and they start kissing - but the event is witnesses by Henry. Harold volunteers to take Todd camping.

Jim has the 'flu. Mrs. Mangel turns over a new leaf and she has everyone in the neighbourhood worried. Harold, Todd and Henry go camping and it turns in to a disaster. First they realise they've forgotten to bring any food, and then Harold loses the car keys!

Henry finds the car keys and the campers return home. Pete falls during training. Jane and Des start getting closer and closer and everyone starts noticing it. Mrs Mangel confronts Jane about it and she starts screaming at her.

John is invited over for dinner again. Jane continues seeing Des, but Des misinterprets Jane's feelings, and thinks she might still get back with Mike. Pete is upset after finding out that Kate reported him to the coach and he is stopped from training. Jane is heartbroken.

Jane confesses to Gail that she is in love with Des. Des apologises to Jane, while Rob believes Ian will try and take Gail away from him. Todd and Katie bake Beverly a welcome home cake, and she returns from Perth to find a messy kitchen!

Pete is told he can stay at the Sports Institute, but his leg injury leaves him disappointed. Charlene lies to Rob saying she doesn't feel well, then she spends the day with Steve. Gail refuses to talk to Rob until he apologises to Ian.

Mike and Scott return home. Charlene tells Steve that the two of them are finished. Mike goes over to see Jane and he tells her about Rachel. Mike suspects that Jane has feelings for Des

Charlene accidentally destroys Scott's interview tape. Jim and Paul agree to take part in the fifties night. As John is about to propose, he discovers that Nel Mangel is 'Dear Georgette', and he storms out leaving her in tears. Charlene confesses to Scott about Steve.

John refuses to forgive Mrs. Mangel. Scott is upset after Charlene's confession and he sleeps in Henry's room. Madge and Helen also fight about Scott and Charlene, while Harold decides he should take on responsibility for sorting out the young couple's problems. Mrs. Mangel starts poking her nose into other people's affairs again

Scott and Charlene continue to fight. Rob and Ian fight over Gail, with each one trying to outdo the other with expensive anniversary presents. Mike tells Jane that she is going to make a fool of herself if she falls for Des.

All the Ramsay Street residents take part in the fifties night, except for Mrs. Mangel and Jane. On this lively jazzy night Harold disgusts everyone by singing 'Amazing Grace'. Henry tries to realise his pop star ambitions, while Beverley and Helen are concerned when Paul and Jim don't turn up for the concert. Scott and Charlene 'suddenly' decide to kiss and make up.

Madge and Helen make up - and then argue again. Des loses Jamie in a car park, but he is found by a young woman, who picks a fight with Des for not looking after him.

Bronwyn the babysitter spends the night at the Clarke house. She makes them breakfast in the morning and they are quite impressed, so Des suggests that she work for them full-time. Rob and Ian make up. Bronwyn moves into the Mangel house, and she tells Des that Jane has the hots for him.

Scott and Charlene decide to rent a flat, much to Madge's disappointment. Mike explains to Des that Jane thinks that he is interested in her, but Des tells Jane that there's no chance for them. Jane is embarrassed and heartbroken.

Paul and Gail swap jobs. Henry falls in love with Bronwyn, who has become Jamie's new nanny, but Mike doesn't like it. Jane goes on leave because she cannot handle things at work after being disappointed by Des.

Bronwyn tells Henry that she doesn't fancy him. Gail mucks up the pay review, and Jane puts wrong salary letters in wrong envelopes. Lucy is back from college and she has found herself a boyfriend. Henry discovers that he earns less than Bill and threatens to go to the union.

Gail solves the dispute just before Paul finds out about it. Dan Ramsay offers Scott and Charlene a house. Paul is furious that Gail didn't tell him about the misunderstanding between her and Lassiter's staff. Lucy goes to the coffee shop to meet her new boyfriend but he stands her up.

Scott and Charlene are reluctant to take the house as it's in Brisbane. Scott unearths some startling facts, and Madge discovers Ramsay Street should actually have been Robinson Street. Lucy comes back disappointed that Matt didn't show up.

Todd tries to comfort Lucy after her disappointment and tries to arrange a new boyfriend for her. Charlene and Scott have to make a momentous decision that will affect the rest of their lives. Todd and Katie cause Dan stress when the whole issue about Ramsay Street being named after Madge's family gets out of hand.

Todd rounds up his friends in an attempt to find Lucy a date for Emma's party, while Scott and Charlene decide to accept Dan's offer. Jim is grumpy about Scott going to Brisbane, and Charlene thanks her grandpa for the house offer. Scott and Henry decide to sort out the feud over a game of cards. Lucy's blind date turns up and she can't believe what she sees.

Henry wins, but only after Charlene fixes the cards. Dan returns home, and Paul and Gail still argue about the salary fiasco. Everyone thinks it is a good thing that the Ramsay's won the bet.

Mrs. Mangel instructs Paul to check Karl out as she doesn't trust him. Jane returns to work and gives Gail and Paul a lecture about their love life. Mrs. Mangel exposes a thief - who threatens to kill her. Paul and Gail make up.

Bronwyn saves Mrs. Mangel. Henry buys himself a metal detector with the hope of finding buried treasures. Mike is jealous of Bronwyn's relationship with Des and Jamie, and Henry finds something buried in Mrs. Mangel's backyard.

Charlene and Scott take a sentimental journey around Erinsborough before getting ready for her Brisbane trip. Paul and Gail are disappointed by the IVF results. Bronwyn and Mike have a heated argument over Jamie and the running of the Clarke household.

Charlene says a tearful farewell to Ramsay Street as she leaves for Brisbane, while Mike and Bronwyn establish a new relationship. Jim quarrels with wife Beverly, and Jane finds out that the gun belongs to Mrs. Mangel's son, Joe.

Henry advises Todd about how to kiss Emma. Mrs Mangel reveals a long-concealed family secret, and Henry sets a trap to catch the garage's phantom graffiti artist.

Todd tries to kiss Emma - but misses! Nick Page 'repaints' the fence, and Pete announces that he is quitting the Sports Institute.

A party is held to celebrate Jamie's first birthday. Bronwyn's sister, Sharon, makes her sudden arrival.

Mike endangers Jamie, and Sharon upsets Mrs Mangel who struggles to cope with her new houseguest. Des worries that Jamie might have swallowed a piece of rubber.

Jamie is found to be fine. Bronwyn embarks on another crusade, and Nick causes more problems for Todd when Helen invites him to stay at the Robinson house.

Todd breaks up with Emma. Sharon breaks Mrs. Mangel's organ, and Nick moves out of the Robinson house.

Jane is delighted to hear Henry has discovered Joe's address, while Nick persuades Sharon to return home. Nick moves back into with the Robinsons.

Sharon and Todd busk and get into trouble with Paul - as does Madge. Jane goes to see her uncle.

Paul shows increasing signs of stress, and Todd's resentment of Nick grows out of control. Joe says he doesn't want to know about his mother, and Helen's purse goes missing.

Harold finds the purse, and he gives Nick a job at the coffee shop after getting a telling off, while Henry outlines an ingenious plan - for murder. Nick causes an explosion - right next to Harold…

Harold sacks Nick, and Scott plays detective at the Clarkes'. Bronwyn and Sharon's Aunt Edie arrives, and Joe turns up on at Mrs. Mangel's doorstep.

Paul's deception lands him in hot water with Rosemary and puts Lassiter's in jeopardy. Edie says Sharon can stay in Erinsborough, and the debate over the Waterhole uniforms reaches a conclusion.

Jim makes a decision that could endanger his future with Beverly, and Paul's career takes an unexpected turn after Rosemary suspends him. Mike takes Bronwyn motorcycling.

Unwelcome news threatens Paul's glittering business career. Jim suggests that he and Beverly could have a baby. Nick's paintings are hung in the coffee shop, and Rosemary sends Derek Morris to see Paul.

Henry and Harold make a bet, and Joe's innocence is established. Henry is tied up, and he and Madge and fired by Derek Morris.

The Robinsons worry about Nick - and realise they have good reason for concern. Derek Morris threatens to sack Paul, but Paul quits. Beverly returns home, and Nick is arrested.

Beverly decides what is to be done about Nick after the news of his grandmother's death, while irrepressible Henry comes up with yet another bright idea. Mike and Bronwyn kiss.

Mike admits his feelings about a new relationship, while Des literally gets cold feet and ruins his new suit in the ice cream-eating contest. Jane tells Mike that she doesn't mind him and Bronwyn being an item.

Mike threatens Derek Morris, who in turn threatens Des. He also tries to seduce Jane again.

Derek Morris is found to be a spy for a rival company, and he's given the sack. Paul is reinstated after the Lassiter's staff hold a strike. Nick's grandmother's funeral takes place.

Gail upsets Madge, who quits again. Harold collapses. Katie returns with influence from Hilary.

Des threatens to sack Harold unless he goes on holiday. Sharon discovers Aunt Edie is planning to settle in Ramsay Street.

Henry decides to produce gnomes! Sharon bids for the auctioned house. Des meets his new trainee manager.

Sharon is confronted by an unwelcome visitor, while Des is forced to cope with the office protégé. Aunt Edie successfully bids for the house, and Beverly reveals that she thinks she may have killed a patient.

Katie tries to restore Beverly's self-confidence. Aunt Edie returns to find Bronwyn kissing Mike and Sharon kissing Nick. She is not happy and sets herself up as a moral guardian for her nieces.

Henry faces a sticky problem over his gnomes. Aunt Edie realises she's in Sharon's hands when she is caught in a tree, giving Sharon the opportunity to blackmail her over Nick. Paul sets off for a supposed business meeting - but it doesn't really exist…

Gail accuses Paul of cheating on her with another woman, while Sharon makes sure Aunt Edie knows how she feels. Des becomes friendly with the trainee manager, Penny.

Gail comes face to face with Paul's mystery woman who turns out to be Helen! Des goes on a date with Penny, and Beverly's career is threatened by the appalling news that she is being sued.

Paul and Gail play cupid for Des and Penelope. Bronwyn decides Mike can't give her what she wants from a man and they break up. Paul has a bad cold, and Beverly fears she could be struck off.

Mike sees Bronwyn hugging Henry and jumps to conclusions, but Mike forces Henry to face the truth. Des decides to risk mixing business with pleasure and takes Penny on a romantic evening out.

Beverly reads distressing news in the local paper, while Penny throws Des's emotions into turmoil. Mrs. Mangel returns and finds out about Beverly. Paul and Gail both go down with the 'flu.

Jane tries to reunite Joe and Mrs. Mangel.

Joe finally makes amends with his mother, and Nick finds himself in trouble again when he gets into a fight at the school dance.

The court decides Nick's fate, and Beverly argues with Scott on his return to Ramsay Street. Nick is given 30 hours community service for his vandalism.

Jane is upset after finding out Des lied about him and Penny, while Todd feels the distance between him and the Robinsons increasing.

Mike and Henry make up over Bronwyn. Madge and Harold return to find fleas in the carpet! Henry battles an unseen enemy, while Des and Jane are both stricken with guilt.

The kittens lead Bronwyn into danger, and Jane is horrified to realise she may have cost Des his chance of happiness. Henry and Joe fumigate the house, but Bronwyn is overcome by the fumes.

Harold and Mrs Mangel find common ground that brings them closer to each other than they would ever expected. Bronwyn is saved by Beverly's heroism.

Beverly demands to know why Todd is home late. The Ramsay Street residents hold a séance, and Joe objects to Harold's nocturnal activities.

Harold becomes concerned his image may be damaged by rumours of his midnight indiscretions. Sharon experiments with smoking, but sets fire to the coffee shop - which explodes with Des inside…

Harold rescues Des and is hailed a hero. Bronwyn volunteers to look after Des, and Nick offers to cover for Sharon by taking the blame for the fire.

After Nick is given lots of grief, Sharon owns up to causing the fire. Paul mistakes Nick's portrait of him for Helen's.

Beverly tells Jim her good news, but finds he's less than thrilled. Des is released from hospital, while Scott has a new female admirer. Paul tells Helen that he's seen her painting of him and hates it - not realising it's really Nick's painting of him that he saw…

Sylvie tries to get Scott to spend the night with her. Beverly learns she's pregnant, but then mishears Jim saying that he doesn't want a baby.

Scott doesn't succumb to Sylvie. Beverly disappears, and her car is found abandoned.

Beverly is found and Jim tells her the truth. Helen discovers Paul's mistake and decides to get revenge.

Mrs. Mangel meets John Worthington again, and they are rekindling their relationship when John is thrown out by Joe.

Sharon sabotages the cake Mrs. Mangel has cooked for the competition. Meanwhile Henry accidentally smashes Madge's entry! Joe apologises to John.

Henry and Sharon own up to their respective misdemeanours. Mrs. Mangel throws Sharon out of the house.

Mrs Mangel tries fortune telling - but the results give Beverly cause for concern. Paul finds out about his mistake. Bronwyn and Sharon decide to move into No. 30.

Henry almost kisses Bronwyn, but she is scared off. Joe agrees to move in with Mrs. Mangel.

Des badmouths Harold, but Harold overhears him. Bronwyn finds out that the love letter she received from Henry was actually written by Scott.

Des and Harold's friendship comes under strain and they break off the partnership. Paul finds out that he failed at the IVF programme, and Beverly finds her life in danger when she is mugged.

Jim becomes concerned about Beverly, while John breaks unpleasant news to Mrs Mangel. Beverly loses the baby. John Worthington asks Mrs. Mangel to marry him.

Mrs. Mangel accepts the marriage proposal, but is taken aback when John tells her that they'll be living in England. Another romance blossoms on Ramsay Street when Nick and Sharon kiss.

Henry shatters Bronwyn's dreams, and Nick puts Sharon in a difficult position. Mrs. Mangel calls off the engagement.

Melanie has a heart-to-heart with Bronwyn, while Paul attempts to make peace between Des and Harold. Beverly wins the malpractice suit, but then accuses Jim of being happy now that there's no baby. Todd returns from soccer camp.

Madge and Henry are concerned about Charlene after a worrying phone call from Brisbane, while Des and Harold find themselves in a tight squeeze when they are stuck in a lift. Katie catches Todd sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night, and Des and Harold settle their differences.

Katie investigates Todd's activities and finds he is becoming addicted to fruit machines. Mrs. Mangel and John come to a compromise, and Madge risks all to cure Harold's snoring.

Harold reluctantly offers Joe a job, and Nick works to rebuild his relationship with Sharon. Todd and Katie move into Paul and Gail's, and Katie reveals Todd's secret.

Paul devises an appropriate punishment for Todd by making him reach his video game target, and Sharon ensures Mike's teaching experience includes a lesson he won't forget.

John has a buck's party and Mrs. Mangel has a hen party, at which Helen, Madge and Jane recall past events. Mrs Mangel's memory starts to play tricks, while Mike suspects one of his students is suffering domestic violence.

Mrs Mangel prepares to get married - but the day is not without hitches. Mike tries to find out more about Jessie by offering to tutor her. Jessie accepts the offer.

Mrs. Mangel finally marries John Worthington. Joe gets the last word at the wedding reception, while Jim and Beverly attempt to sort out their problems.

The newlyweds leave Ramsay Street. Beverley hypnotises Madge to help her sleep. Todd doesn't want to move back into the Robinson house.

Mike confronts Jessie's parents over their treatment of her. Bronwyn gets a cool reception from Henry. Sharon cheats to help Nick pass his exam.

Mike finds out about Sharon's cheating, and she is suspended. Jim learns that his mother is dying, and he and Paul fly to Washington.

Todd feels sorry for himself, while Jane and Joe find housekeeping in Mrs Mangel's absence more difficult than expected. Jamie falls in the swimming pool, and Todd gets the blame after Bronwyn rescues the baby. Joe decides to refurbish the Mangel house.

Todd runs away and meets Skinner - a bad influence. Joe moves his own furniture into the Mangel house.

Todd rings Katie to let her know that he's OK. Harold and Madge dance. Malcolm tells Des that he's sold his house.

Joe leaves Des and Harold in an awkward situation, and Jessie falls in love with Mike. Harold accuses Joe of using stolen materials in the coffee shop renovations. Bouncer drinks Joe's beer!

Mike's career is threatened when Mr. Muir catches him in a compromising encounter with a student. Jane has a go at Des and Harold over Joe, while Bronwyn tries to attract Henry's attentions but he says he's not interested in her.

Henry ruins Bronwyn's attempt to arrange an intimate evening by inviting Joe and Jane to join them. Nick hears some news about Todd, and Henry has an accident. Bronwyn finally tells Henry that she loves him, and Henry is ecstatic! Mike is sacked as a teacher and Jessie is sent away.

Bronwyn and Henry admit the strength of their mutual attraction, and Des is startled to meet his father's girlfriend. Jane produces Joe's receipts.

Todd gets deeper into trouble with Skinner, and Mike surprises his friends with an unexpected decision. Harold apologises to Joe. Nick spots Todd, who is planning a burglary with Skinner. Beverly becomes worried about Helen's health.

Malcolm hurts his knee. Todd and Skinner go to rob a factory, but Nick follows them and is caught.

Joe's past catches up with him, while the search for Todd leaves Nick in jail and Helen in hospital with a suspected stroke. Todd gives himself up, and Nick is released with a caution.

Helen's condition takes a turn for the worse when she lapses into a coma. Bronwen and Sharon get a surprise visitor. Toby is upset when Joe accuses him of being a wimp. Todd blames himself for Helen's condition.

Joe hits Toby after finding out his son skived his first day at his new school, and attempts to toughen up his son's masculine instincts. Henry finds himself getting back to nature when Aunt Edie returns and he has to run home naked!

Jane's relationship with Toby blossoms, while Harold finds himself drifting into another woman's grip. Skinner holds Katie hostage while Todd robs Paul and Gail's, but Gail catches Todd in the act.

Skinner is arrested after Nick catches him, and Jim returns home from America. Leanne seduces Des but is caught by Malcolm. Leanne then accuses Des of coming onto her.

Henry attempts to pay Bronwyn a nocturnal visit - but what will Aunt Edie say if she finds out? Des tells Leanne the truth about Malcolm and Malcolm the truth about Leanne. Edie catches Henry under the table at No. 30 in the middle of the night!

Jim is shocked to hear the cost of Bessie's hospital treatment. Bronwyn tries to avoid her aunt. Jim shows Beverley a statuette he obtained, and Beverley says she knows if another one, which would make them worth $80,000. Bronwyn moves in with the Ramsay's.

Hilary's attempts to sell her statue run into trouble as her visit gets off to a problematical start. Harold throws Bronwyn out, so she moves in with the Clarkes. Hilary refuses to sell the second statuette to Beverly and Jim.

Hilary remains obstinate because of her thirty year grudge against Jim, and Jane receives a gift. Nick discovers Sharon's new job is as an artist's model - posing nude…

Nick tells Sharon to choose between her work as a model and him, and American millionaire Mark Granger sweeps Jane off her feet. Nick and Sharon split up over Sharon's job.

Malcolm hurts his knee and tells Des to go on the quiz show in his place, while Jane is overwhelmed but begins to have doubts about her new admirer.

Ramsay Street hosts a mini-grand prix, and Des makes his television debut. Des doesn't win the quiz, but he does get a holiday for Malcolm. Des asks Edie to run the coffee shop. Katie and Toby are playing with their billy cart, but it starts heading straight towards Edie…

Toby's cart crashes and breaks, and defects are found in the coffee shop. Katie and Toby hold a garage sale and sell Hilary's statuette to Joe - for $5! Joe finds himself in possession of a priceless antique without even realising it.

Henry hears disturbing news about Bronwyn, while Joe and Hilary battle for possession of the figurine after discovering its true value. Joe eventually gives Hilary her statuette back. He also argues with Toby, who runs away but gets stuck in a trunk. The coffee shop reopens.

Gail's stepmother makes a disturbing announcement about her relationship with Rob, and Madge becomes concerned about Harold's masseuse. Bouncer eventually finds Toby, and Paul returns from America. Henry tries to find out about Bronwyn's past, but fails.

Bronwyn's hidden past is revealed by Sharon, striking sparks which threaten to ignite Henry's temper. Lucy meets Nick and falls in love, and Paul announces that he's buying the Australian end of the Daniels Corporation.

Katie chastises Hilary into handing over the statuette. Gail is opposed to Paul's plans. Jane hears stunning news about Mark Granger when Lassiters receives a call from Mrs. Mark Granger in America…

Bronwyn takes a dim view of Henry's activities, and Gail is still against Paul's plans. Mrs. Granger turns out to be Mark's mother.

Nick thinks of a way to help Helen recover from her ordeal. Rob and Gloria decide to give their relationship another try, while Edie and Harold came into conflict in the coffee shop. Sharon pushes Lucy into the swimming pool after spotting her eyeing-up Nick.

Joe makes himself another enemy, and Nick tells Lucy that he isn't interested. Helen's arousal therapy begins. Katie hits Toby because he won't kiss her!

Toby takes boxing lessons, which prove a painful experience for Joe. Todd makes a tape of the residents of Ramsay Street and plays it to Helen, who wakes up. Toby eats garlic before finally kissing Katie!

Mark makes Jane a life-changing offer. A misunderstanding causes Bronwyn to think Henry is dying, when it's really a tree that's sick. Everyone rejoices over Helen's awakening.

It's Christmas, and Jane accepts Mark's proposal. Aunt Edie plays Father Christmas, while Toby and Katie make up. Henry attempts to win back his place in Bronwyn's affections.
