Season 1
Childhood best friends. Two halves of a whole. The cool, smart one who's good at almost everything, and his average, dorky friend who struggles to do anything right—Yamato and Kakeru. Always by the other's side, but not together in the way they truly want to be. No matter how hard they try, their hearts cannot reach each other.
01. Episode 1
Handsome and smart high schooler Yamato is best friends with his not-so-clever classmate Kakeru. One day, Kakeru asks him a tricky question.
02. Episode 2
The mood between Yamato and Kakeru becomes awkward following the group date. Kakeru angrily defends Yamato when their classmates bad-mouth him.
03. Episode 3
While accompanying his mother on a shopping trip, Kakeru runs into Akane. Yamato sees them together and, feeling a pang of jealousy, confronts Kakeru.
04. Episode 4
Yamato and Kakeru plan a school trip to Kyoto together along with their friends.
05. Episode 5
Yamato and Kakeru’s plans to spend the day in Kyoto together are derailed by their friends’ attempts to matchmake.
06. Episode 6
Kakeru can't stop thinking about Yamato's confession.
07. Episode 7
Kakeru decides to buy sweets for Yamato.
08. Episode 8
Kakeru confesses to Yamato.
