In the documentary, author Hajo Seppelt reveals the background to Russia's sporting successes, revealing an almost comprehensive system of systematic doping. Hajo Seppelt was able to gain the trust of two whistleblowers who now have to reorganize their lives as a result of their collaboration on this film. At the end of "Geheimsache Doping" it was revealed that the two whistleblowers had to "leave Russia forever".
